Second stellar CD of stark, mesmerizing & historical electronic and concrète. "Volume 2 of the music of Rune Lindblad (1923-1991). This CD consists of the remainder of the long out of print Radium double LP. These works cover the years 1962-1988. Lindblad, a Swede, began composing in 1953. Ignored by the musical establishment of Stockholm, Rune went his own merry way, composing over 200 works of electronic music. Limited in the early years to often primitive equipment, he carved out his own musical niche. The sounds were often raw, occasionally scary."

Thanks a lot for the Objekt-2. Rune Lindblad is one of my favourite electronic composers ever (and the same goes for Jean-Claude Risset) but his works are really difficult to find... I've been searching for them for ages.

Thanks again for sharing and posting the info on Lindblad.

you're welcome. Rune Lindblad, like most pioneers, has been tragically ignored. Hopefully things will change and more of his material will be released.

Why did you name the archive with the EXACT same name as the other Rune Lindblad archive (Rune_Lindblad.rar)? Yes I can rename one of them. Anyway this is a fantastic collection of music. You're blog and taste in music is exquisite. Thanks!

Hey! Thanks for the Lindblad.
I'm not sure why my friend's picture was included in this file - a fellow Swede named Ingvar Loco Nordin - but hey! I guess I'll check and see if he's been impersonating Lindblad lately - hahahahaha!

Just got my copy of "Die Stille Liebe"; two disc set of Rune Lindblad containing no duplicates of either Death Of The Moon or Objekt 2. Great stuff.

But my favorite Lindblad piece is on volume 3 of Sub Rosa's An Anthology of Noise And Electronic Music - this amazing piece called "Till Zakynthos", done near the end of Lindblad's life. It is stunning.

But if you're really into Lindblad, try to get Die Stille Liebe. You will not be disappointed.
