Basically, you make these silly noise patterns at each other and the one who laughs first loses, so, most of these tracks end with lots of laughing. Because laughter warms you up. another aspect of inuit throat games is that the sound one player makes is sent directly into the other person's mouth and that person changes the shape of their mouth to change the sound. I've played in this way with my friend 'stinky'. Although I had much fun I recommend brushing your teeth before you play these games.

I haven't heard this but I wonder if there is much circular breathing because the only eskimo song cycles I'd heard previously was this continuous rising and falling of voices drifting in and out of consciousness... they stay up all night singing to eachother in the deepest of winter - wrapped in blankets, hugging eachother, nose to nose, so that the warm air is not wasted, but recycled.

About the inuit i know the concept of singing of them from the 70ties.
there was a programma in Holland where i lived then that did all recordings from all over the world not knowed tribes and sort.
and i had a huge collection of tapes from this program. but yeah only a taperecorder i need now.
