a lovely and blunted album of gentle melodies and soothing song. i love mbira for the same reason i love gamelan: they come from a place where rhythm and melody have not been forcefully separated. this particular recording not recommended if it's 11PM and you still have a lot more work to do after procrastinating all day, because you'll drift off into a gentle magical world and get fired the next day.
